Deposit Charge Policy

At Boundary Implant Centre, we strive to provide you with top-quality dental care while making the most efficient use of our clinical time.

Starting August 2023, we kindly ask for a deposit when scheduling appointments that last longer than 30 minutes. If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, we would greatly appreciate it if you could let us know at least 48 hours in advance. This will allow us to offer the appointment to another patient, and there will be no charge for rescheduling or canceling under these circumstances.

We truly value your cooperation and assistance with this policy. Some of our dental professionals work as independent contractors, and this policy helps support their livelihood.

We understand that unexpected situations can arise, such as illness, and we will take personal circumstances into consideration for late cancellations. However, please note that a fee will be applied for missed, canceled, or rescheduled appointments without at least 48 hours’ notice. To cancel, please call us at 01273 418404. Please be aware that your deposit may be retained for late cancellations (any cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice).

Thank you for your understanding, and we will do our best to be sensitive to your personal circumstances in the event of a late cancellation.

Fail to Attend Charge

At Boundary Implant Centre, we strive to provide you with top-quality dental care while making the most efficient use of our clinical time.

Charging for fail to attend at our dentistry helps us ensure the efficient utilisation of our resources and offers fair treatment to all our patients. When a patient fails to attend their scheduled appointment, it not only disrupts our carefully planned schedule but also denies another patient who may be in need of dental care. Moreover, our dentists and staff meticulously prepare for each appointment, dedicating their time and expertise to provide the best care possible.

By implementing a charge for fail to attend, we encourage accountability and respect for everyone’s time, ensuring that our practice can continue to provide quality dental services to all patients.

  • First Time (Appointments upto 30 minutes): No charge.
  • First Time (Appointments over 30 minutes) : £50
  • Second Time (Appointments upto 30 minutes) : Charge depends type of treatment and clinical time.
  • Second Time (Appointments over 30 minutes) : Charge 50% of treatment cost.

Short notice cancellation on the day

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise and cause a need for short notice cancellation on the day of the appointment. In such cases, we kindly request that patients discuss their situation directly with our practice manager. By having a direct conversation, we can better assess the reason for the cancellation and determine if a charge may be applied.

Our aim is to handle each situation on a case-by-case basis and ensure fairness to all parties involved. We appreciate open communication and understanding from our patients as we strive to provide exceptional care and manage our schedule effectively.
