Challenge:
The patient presented with severe gum disease, significant tooth mobility, deep bite issues, and aesthetic concerns. These problems not only impacted confidence and oral function but also required a comprehensive and carefully planned full-mouth rehabilitation.

Following a detailed assessment, Dr. Boji proposed a staged treatment plan involving the extraction of 18 teeth and the placement of 10 dental implants:

• 6 implants in the upper jaw supporting a 12-tooth bridge

• 4 implants in the lower jaw supporting a 10-tooth bridge

Despite the extent of the gum disease, 3 natural molars in the lower jaw were successfully preserved following targeted laser periodontal therapy, adding a layer of clinical complexity to the restorative work.

Using advanced digital planning and laser-assisted surgery, Dr. Boji was able to deliver a highly precise and minimally invasive solution.

• Surgical guides were used to ensure accurate implant positioning for optimal long-term results.
• Multiple lasers — including diode and Er:YAG lasers — were employed for pre-surgical gum treatment and surgical assistance.
• On the same day as extractions and implant placement, the patient received immediate temporary prosthetics — 10 teeth each in the upper and lower jaws.
• These temporary bridges were made from a durable, biocompatible material strong enough to support soft-food function during the 3-month healing period.

After healing, the patient was fitted with fully personalised zirconia porcelain bridges, carefully crafted to match his bite, gum contours, and facial aesthetics.

• The final result followed an All-on-6 upper and All-on-4 lower implant configuration for maximum stability and support.
• A dramatic improvement in both gum health and aesthetic appearance was achieved.
• The patient reported a renewed ability to smile, eat, and chew comfortably — with restored confidence and quality of life.
