About This Treatment
At Boundary we combine the latest digital technology with Clearalign aligners to create beautifully straight teeth. Due to 3D digital scans you’ll be able to see the desired results before treatment begins, and your dentist will provide support throughout your straightening programme to ensure you’re happy with the results.
Your first appointment
At your first appointment you will discuss your desired results with your dentist before an intra-oral scanner is used to take an extremely accurate digital impression of your mouth. The digital images will appear immediately and you will be able to see a 3D visualisation demonstrating your new smile before your treatment begins.
Once you are satisfied, your treatment plan will be agreed and your dental trays will be 3D printed. In a matter of days you will have your first sets of aligners ready to begin treatment. You will have to return for follow up appointments to ensure your treatment is going to plan and to allow any adjustments to be made.

What scans might I get?
A 3D scan will be taken using an intra-oral scanner. It is a completely painless and safe process where the scanner’s light wand is guided around your mouth to take digital impressions of your teeth and gums.
